Latin American brokers in Guatemala and China sold to Mexico's Sinaloa cartel
On 14 April, US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned a Chinese biotech firm, several Chinese nationals and one Guatemalan national. These entities and individuals made up a network of chemical merchants. Their main client was the Sinaloa Cartel and their main products were fentanyl precursor chemicals.
